Manifest

I create without waiting. Without seeking perfection or following a fixed path. My pieces are born from an instinctive dialogue with the material—a sketch, a floating idea, then the turning that takes over. I modulate, I sculpt, I explore. Each gesture opens a door, each accident becomes an invitation to push further.

I am drawn to the rough, the raw, the textures that tell the story of nature—the echo of wood, cracked earth, deep contrasts. My pieces evolve by ricochet: one form calls for another, in an organic and unpredictable evolution. Each creation is singular, perfectly imperfect, marked by unique effects that make each series multiple and lively.

I embrace flaws, I celebrate flaws. They are anchors, springboards for experimentation. My work is an endless, sprawling, shifting exploration. The history of the past and the momentum of the present intertwine: sculptural, non-utilitarian forms emerge, designed for contemplation, resonating with ancient references, reinvented under my hands.

Often, the piece reveals itself in the making, not in the idea. Mistakes guide me, accidents become decisions. My gaze is decisive: I seek the discomfort, the lack, the subtle imbalance that calls for further exploration. I am fascinated by large forms, totems, assemblages that escape function. Each step is a quest: I experiment, I undo, I reconstruct. The process is fluid, untamed. Firing, however, imposes its law, sometimes transforming everything, reminding me of the humility of the gesture.

I know that the pieces I hold out the most hope for are sometimes the least finished. I'm learning patience, I'm learning to stop at the right moment—or not. This imbalance is what drives me.

Ceramics is my territory of exploration. I let the forms emerge, I lose myself to better find. It's a journey, a tension between mastery and letting go, until, suddenly, the result stops me: there, it's right.

And I start again.
